Sarah’s Farmhouse Fancies is registered with the Environmental Health department at Rochford District Council, and holds the maximum 5 stars in the Food Standards Agency’s ‘Food Hygiene Rating’ scheme. All cakes are baked and decorated in the cake studio here on our farm.
In April 2011 I was delighted to be announced as winner of the Tate & Lyle ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ competition. Tasked with designing and creating a cake fit to celebrate royal wedding, my cake was selected as the winner out of 120 entries nationwide. The cake went on display as part of the Royal Wedding Cake Exhibition at Wellington Arch in Hyde Park, London and was featured in the local and national press. My cakes have also featured in the a number of magazines, including Vogue, Glamour and Ideal Home.
